It also gives lots of ways to deal with a really negative work environment and bully boss.
I am now stronger and well prepared if another attack comes. The bummer is that unfortunately being a jerk is not against the law. But this book is well worth reading! This book examines the issue of how the workplace can often be a place where language and treatment of employees can sometimes reach levels of "abuse" and certainly can be toxic and harmful to the people who work there. The first sections of the book are interesting, as the psychological aspects of workplace behaviors are identified and the effects categorized.
The analysis is fairly accurate in my experience in corporate America. While rare, the incidents are indeed a reality at times unfortunately.
